Our camp site is located 4 miles from Leland, 9 miles from Suttons bay, and 20 miles from Traverse City. We are 4 miles from Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. There are nearly 20 winerys within a short drive,. We are lucky to have so many beautiful back country roads great for biking, and plenty of hiking trails are just minutes from our property. There are numerous small towns that offer great shopping, don't get me started about all the unique shops to browse through. The things I like best about our property are the things money can not buy. The air here is so clean and fresh to breath, and the sky is so blue, and the sunsets are just amazing. I mean where can you go and see both a sunrise and sunset over water. And the night sky, wow have you ever seen so many stars. Our property is located in such a wonderful place and we are so fortunate that my husband's family decided so long ago to call this valley home. It is a little special that we are here because of someone else's decision as well as the choices we made too. Please come and enjoy our farm we have been wanting to share its beauty with others for a long time and now with hipcamp we finally can.

We loved our stay here! Nice area and so close to things around Leeland. The owner was so sweet as well. We will definitely be back!

Great stay in a great part of Michigan! There aren’t a lot of “private” spots to park and camp in Leelenau so we were very happy to find this place’. We enjoyed so much we booked a second night so we can continue to explore Leelenau.

We made a trip to go camping near glen lake and we were able to make our reservation the day of which was awesome. We bought firewood and they gave us some each night and was definitely worth the 5 dollars. The sites had a metal fire pit and near a creek that was perfect to fall asleep next to. They also had a really cute dog which was friendly and didn’t have any issues with our three dogs.

Site #6 was private and secluded, and did need 4 wheel drive to get to. It was tree covered and shady all day. We enjoyed walking around the trails and the birdwatching in the woods of this property. Great access to the Lake Michigan beach and other great parts of the peninsula.

Site #6 is in the back part of their property and requires 4 wheel drive to get to. Perfect for our truck camp set up.
