Little Bear is nestled in the big pines where you will be able to hear all the night songs. You will hear the breeze gently blowing the tree tops as you drift off to sleep . There is a private fire ring available in the clearing outside the door so you can enjoy the campfire under the brilliant northern stars at night.
If you would like to prepare your meals over the campfire, it is there for you, and if you choose to have them prepared for you, that option is available at a reasonable cost, providing you let me know in advance.
Little Bear is primitive camping, with no bedding etc provided, you need to bring your own. The floor will be covered with a cotton tarp to reduce the dirt, but you might need to bring a moisture proof cloth for under your sleeping bag.
I have allowed for four people to sleep in the tipi. There is room for four to sleep but keep in mind this is a 12' circle and the sides do not go straight up. You don't have 12' of walking around room.

If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
We traveled North to do some mushroom hunting and wanted a place to stay that we could roll in and enjoy without setting up camp. I haven't stayed in a teepee before so thought it could be fun. And, it was! It's about a 35 min drive from Grayling area but well worth it. The teepee itself is beautiful and well made. The grounds it sits on feels untouched and magical with white moss glowing in the sunset. Cool trails and room to explore. They let their goats out to welcome us, but didn't see them after walking back to the site. Overall a beautiful space to lay your head, you won't regret it!
