Nice quiet place to camp with a hiking trail very close by! When we arrived the site was ready with camp firewood! They were very responsive to all if our questions and would stay again!

This HipCamp is very easy to find via the Host's directions, and very accessible. When you park your vehicle and take in all of the scenery you'll realize you have an amazing field all to yourself!!! So much space to frolick and roam! Many kinds of birds sing in the trees. It's a quick zip up the road if you need convenient gas, propane, groceries and a hardware store. And of course you'll be near Houghton-Hancock and all the amazing adventures awaiting you in the Keweenaw Peninsula!

Pines and ferns - beautiful!

Marshall’s spot was lovely and private. It was full of beautiful ferns with a nice area cleared out with logs to sit on and a place to make a good fire. He put out a welcome sign to mark the correct gravel driveway. The place was easy to find once we looked for the tree with the paper welcome sign.
