Wilder Hill Gardens is a thriving nursery/flower farm in Conway, Massachusetts, in the foothills of the Birkshires. With pristine water from our well and forests all around, you will camp amid our gardens and orchards. Visit the chickens and pick fresh, organic fruit in season. Walk down the country road to the Bear River for a dip or explore nearby Shelburne Falls. Children and animals are welcome. We have a newly built outhouse with a gravity feed sink for washing hands. A warm/hot water camp shower is available attached to the volunteer cabin for outdoor showering, lovely!

The vibe at Wilder Hill Gardens
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Lillian was a wonderful host, very helpful and informative. The property is a beautiful garden/nursery that includes a chicken coop as well. Only a 10 minute drive to the nearby towns of Ashfield and Shelburne falls with plenty of hiking and trails nearby. Will likely book again in the future.
What a gorgeous place! Lilian was great about communication before we arrived, was there to meet us, and gave us a tour of her grounds. She is so relaxed, so hospitable, and made us feel right at home. Her nursery/fruit farm was peaceful, beautiful, and filled with good energy and life! Lilian has recently put up a new bath house with a compostable toilet, and built a kitchen/loft/porch/hangout area that really enhanced our stay. We got to enjoy the chickens, gardens, good people, and even some wildlife! There is an amazing chorus of birds in the morning that makes waking up a special event. If you happen to be in the area, definitely check out Wilder Hill Gardens! Thank you Lilian!
Lillian was a delightful host: she was committed to ensuring we had what we needed to have a great time (despite the rain). Her dog, Viola, was also a charmer. The location is beautifully landscaped and fruit growing on the property is an additional treat. I would definitely stay again.
