Robert was so wonderful and accommodating for us! The site itself is very cute and relaxing, you camp right under the pines. Even though it's very close to the house you have plenty of opportunity to keep to yourself if that's your thing and you can choose from 2-3 sites in the yard so you're comfortable wherever. There's a good spot for a van or camper too! After we set up camp we climbed down the hill to dip our toes in the water. Robert informed us that there's great fly fishing in the area too! Plus, he has a super cute and friendly dog that loves lots of pats!
Robert was very accommodating and very easy to communicate especially with a super last minute reservation. The site was nice and the directions were good. However, it was not at all private. Based on the description ( "4 acres private woods behind property" ) and the way the pictures were taken we were expecting privacy and preferably no other people in sight. The campground was actually the back yard, only a couple of feet from the cabin. There is nothing wrong with it if that's your thing, however we definitely wanted to be more secluded. We were excited to make a fire and cook, but it didn't seem like it was set up for that so we ended up not doing it. Because of it we ended up finding a campground about a half an hour away that was much closer to what we had in mind :)
