Camp in the midst of our old apple orchard trees.  These trees are 50+ years old and while they bear limited fruit, they provide great shelter for campers!  Easy access in and out of the camp-site.  Be aware of stumps in the ground when you're entering and exiting the site!

Our farm is set in an idyllic riverside landscape located just minutes from the beautiful Montague Bookmill and a short bike ride from lakes and rivers for swimming.

The property abutts the Connecticut River, features forests, pastures, apple and pear orchard and our very own honeybee farm.

It is a secluded and quiet spot that is private, and located at the end of a dead end road. There is a train nearby, and you will occasionally hear it passing rhythmically in the night.

Nearby are a number of fun outdoor activities including the Montague Bookmill, Mt Toby for hiking, Lake Pleasant and the Sawmill river for swims and Montague Ledges for climbing adventurers.

We offer fresh fruit (seasonally, when available!), fresh honey right from our farm and a relaxed atmosphere for unwinding in the wild.

A few miles away are bucolic towns, including Turners Falls, Amherst, Northampton and Easthampton which all make for fun day trips, sight seeing, shopping and delicious local eats.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A WORKING APIARY - THERE ARE HONEYBEES ON SITE NOT FAR FROM THE CAMPSITE!  IF YOU HAVE CONCERNS ABOUT THIS, PLEASE RECONSIDER YOUR INQUIRY... THANK YOU!

Beautiful site with woods to one side, adorable bees on on another, and farm field on the other two sides. Short walk down to the pond and the river. Short bike ride to two different adorable New England towns and the book mill. Perfect escape with amazingly helpful and welcoming hosts.

I had a lovely time camping here. The site was pretty and had very easy access to a local rail trail.

Great place to camp for a night. We had an awesome display of fireflys and a nice fire. Just as described. Would recommend.

Such an incredible getaway. Lots to explore nearby. This campsite exceeded my expectations. Make sure to pickup some of the delicious honey before you leave! Exactly what I needed after being cooped up indoors for so long. The perfect night sky reminded me of life's charm.

Great experience. I hope to return!

The giving trees

Our stay in the old apple orchard was so great. Beautiful pollinator crops cover the property making the space feel open and airy while the low branches of the old apple trees offer shade and privacy. The trees also provided apples for tasting, wood for kindling, branches to hang a hammock, and oxygen to breath. Felt like I was in Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree while hanging out under them. It’s a beautiful spot!
