Such a nice weekend! This was our first Hipcamp experience and it was a good one. David and Tara were gracious and welcoming hosts, and Jasper (their big puppy) is a sweeheart. They were a fount of information regarding local hikes, parks and possible activities. We felt at home and at peace at Wishing Stone.

Dave and Tara were so warm and welcoming! Their land has a few sites, and each one has its own picnic table. The port-a-potty was so clean! We plan on returning next year for sure, if not later this season.

David and Tara were great hosts and the site was perfect. We easily pulled in with our little teardrop and had a nice site just above the pond. At night, we fell asleep to the frogs and crickets. There are a host of trails into the forrest just off the edge of the field where we spent our day hiking. Highly recommended. We’ll be back.

Very peaceful place, the host were welcoming and helpful, and the porta potty was very clean.

What a lovely place! David and Tara were so welcoming and answered all of our questions. Great walking nearby and all of the camping amenities. Would highly recommend!
Beautiful and private camp spot on the back portion of the property. Adjoins public lands with hiking trails just yards from where we camped. David and Tara were amazing hosts, asking me if I needed anything and pointed out some nice places to visit in the area. Will definitely stay here again. The highlight of the stay was a hike up Mt. Watatic, it only took me a few minutes to drive to the trail head from my camp spot.

Our site was tucked away behind the pines just above the pond. Mt Pisgah State Park was just up the road. Very clean and well kept camp site. Next time we’ll try the edge of the field. Highly recommended.
