A perfect getaway in the woods!
We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Mina's Hippy Hideaway. It was the perfect getaway for us and our grown kids to hang out around a fire at night, enjoy the company of their friendly and fun animals, and enjoy the fresh veggies from their garden. The Yurt and tent were very comfortable and nicely appointed. The location was beautifully wooded and plenty to see just walking around there and to nearby sights. We highly recommend it and look forward to coming back!

Great farm experience
Spent one night, rained all night, but still a good time. Lots of privacy at the campsite. In either direction are glamping sites, not really visible from the campsite, though. Mina and Tim were great hosts. My daughter spent lots of time with the farm animals, and enjoyed learning about them. There is a 200 yard walk to the site, but the wagons are really practical and there’s no elevation in the walk. May very well visit again next year!

Fun Family Adventure, Great Hosts
My family had an awesome time. Mina and Tim were very welcoming, offering us a beer upon arrival and going out of their way to show my kids all the animals and explain how to feed them. They even helped us get our fire going when we were having troubles. The tents were well-equipped and they provided more than I expected-- water, fire wood, and items you might have forgotten for cooking. We even bought some of their great art! We would definitely go back.

So Special, We Love This Place
Mina and Tim are SO so nice and provide such an amazing hands off experience. They gave us the lay of the land, and set us loose. Lent a helping hand if ever required. The designated sites are very far apart on their land, had to be about 70-100 yards or so, with lush forest between and plenty of room to roam around. The animals are so wonderful, and it's quite the experience feeding them, something Mina and Tim promote. We had six people, three tents, and had more space than we needed in our campsite. They have extra tables, chairs and carts. Bring biodegradable dish soap and sink receptacles for you dishes. They make some pretty cool art and silk screening designs that you can buy too. All around would go back, and will go back soon.
