Peggy's farm was the perfect escape from DC! The property is beautiful and quiet and offers some really lovely views. We had a great time stargazing by the barn and really enjoyed sipping our coffee by the pond in the morning. Peggy was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would happily visit again!

The property is a beautiful farmland. Peggy was a great host, very responsive. She gave my son and I a tour of the historic barn, which she takes great pride in. There is a pond for fishing, a large fire pit, woods for hiking and nice views of local farms. Very close to Westminster, which has some good places to eat and also Gettysburg. Ideal for tent camping but we did fine with our small travel trailer. There is a nice orchard nearby that allows pick your own. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful weekend away from crowds.
Peggy and the farm we're wonderful. My 6yo loved the dock and the pond. Such a pleasant experience.

The property is beautiful and serene. Large fire pit, fishing pond, views of local farmland, and a historic barn that Peggy takes great pride in. It’s near Gettysburg and Westminster, so plenty to do. Also near a pick your own orchard. Great for tent camping but we did fine with a small camper. Peggy is a great host, highly recommend this one.

Wonderful! A beautiful piece of the earth to rest in. Peggy is wonderful and we wish we'd had more ti.e to chat. We actually did not camp, just enjoyed the generous fire pit and gorgeous skies and then headed back to DC. We will return, next time in daylight! Follow her directions carefully, as she says in the listing, GPS will fail at the last minute.
This is a beautiful private oasis away from the city. Less than 2 hrs from dc, it was a great step away from the city bustle. There is a small stock pond and old barn that give you the feel of being on a farm. The fire ring is large enough for a real bonfire. Peggy was a gracious host and I’ll be back. Warning to RVers. The space is tight for anything over 30 ft. I was able to make my 37 foot fifth wheel work but it was tight. Water and electric were convenient. I’ll go back but probably bring tents for the second trip.

Glad you have a peaceful retreat here. Thanks again for getting my VCR and DVD working. We are combing through old videos and working with the Tai Chi DVD.
Beautiful atmosphere and a very friendly host. Had a great time camping here.
This is a beautiful piece of land with a lot of space to fit all your camping needs. There's even trails deeper within the property. The area is very well maintained and a great change from camping in a cramp state park.

Excellent and veey relaxing and beauitful land with a pond and barn and rolling hills.
Peggy’s land including her giant red barn and sweet little pond were serenely beautiful and peaceful. Peggy was very friendly and helpful. Gorgeous sunset view at the top of her driveway. What a treat! We camped right by the pond which made us farther from the electric but totally worth the view. Bring a 150’ extension cord if you want pond and electric. Option to also park right by the power too.

It was our pleasure to have hosted Nora and her friend. They are the perfect guest. So happy that they found the tranquility they were seeking from our world's hubbub.
