The foundation on the property was an old shore shack. These shore shacks had no running water or septic and were used during the summer time to fish and hunt and relax.  The house at Marmas was washed away during a flood.  You will be alone at the end of peninsula down a 1100 foot dirt road embanked on 2 sides by marsh land and the Chesapeake Bay to your front.  You will see amazing sunrises and wild life with stunning 180’ views of the Chesapeake Bay. *I've lowered the price due to the 1 foot construction silt fence that needs to installed around the old foundation to get my building permit. There's still plenty of room to camp and enjoy the space, its just a little unsightly.   *I do have neighbors across the water, so please be respectful. *We have a real full size porta-potty on site which is serviced with soap and water and pumped out every month depending on traffic.  *Rocky Point State Park is a few minutes up the road from the property if you want a sandy beach to relax, launch a kayak, and swim with children.  *You can rent Kayaks at Island View Cafe. *Sue Island Crab house is a half mile from the camp ground on Baltimore Yacht Club Road.

    This was our second visit and it was just as great as the first! We decided to come back during the snow to do some winter camping. The view over the water was beautiful and we enjoyed the sounds of the winter ducks. Definitely the best site near Baltimore!

    Amazing camping experience
    Carl was a wonderful host and his campsite was incredible!! You have the plot of land to yourself and it's overlooking beautiful views of the bay. If you arrive at dark just know that you're turning onto a dirt road so you don't drive past it at first :) He provides a fire pit, nice Adirondack chairs and a picnic table. We're looking forward to staying here again!

    Private waterfront camping!
    Beautiful spot right on the water. Clean and convenient! We van camped and had a small auto emergency. Carl was super helpful and flexible with us getting out of there. I would happily go back again!

    The host was awesome and we had an awesome dads camping weekend. Very quiet, peaceful spot on the water - would highly recommend!!

    We had a great stay on Carl’s piece of land right on the water. Gorgeous sunrise. Secluded and private. Nice neighborhood to walk our puppy in too, looking at the beautiful houses on the water. Definitely recommend and would come back!
