Pitch your tent near the creek in our secluded forest or hilltop with a view of surrounding farms or in a pasture where you will wake with the morning sun. We have various locations perfect for setting up your space for the night. We are a small diverse vegetable, herb and fruit farm just getting started. We also have a small flock of egg laying hens that roams the property along with three friendly barn cats and two feral cats that will keep a distance. There are countless species of birds that can be seen around the farm as well as colorful butterflies, moths and dragon flies regularly flying about. Campers have access to a bathroom and a partial kitchen as well as a charcoal grill, community fire pit and a picnic table. If you would like to cook onsite we have minimal amount of cookware available to use and you can buy from the farm whatever seasonal produce and/or eggs you might need. Our farm is down the road from wineries, breweries, a tea room and various other Frederick county attractions. There are numerous historic sites within a short drive such as Harpers Ferry and Civil War battlefields, including Gettysburg and Antietam. We are a 15 minute drive to historic downtown Frederick, 10 minutes from the center of historic New Market while being about an hour from downtown D.C. and 45 minutes to Baltimore. Our central location is great for site seeing around the area during the day, then you can spend the evenings relaxing around the farm.

We do have people who bike to us. Our road can be dangerous, curvy with fast drivers and no bike lane, but people do bike here.
Natural features you'll find at Eaters Acres Farm Camp in Maryland.
We have about 7 acres in forest which has trails, a creek and some good spot to pitch a tent.

Catherine and her husband were great! They were having a small event the day we were arriving and contacted me several weeks ahead of time to let me know and give me an option of rescheduling if I felt the need to.
The property is really big and you have the option to camp right near the trailer with the bathroom, out in the field, or back in the forest by the creek.
The bathroom in the trailer was clean, there was soap and toilet paper, and the water was drinkable.
There is also lots of things to do in Frederick. We visited 5 different breweries while we were there.
Great experience! Catherine and Kobi could not have been friendlier, being around the animals (chickens, horses, cows...) was relaxing, and having bathroom and kitchen facilities available was an unexpected plus.
Great stay at eaters farm
Staying at Eaters farm was great! 10/10 would do it again. There were a handful of places that we were offered to pitch a tent, and we chose a lovey site back in the woods. It was very quiet and there were zero mosquitoes! The hosts are very nice and will make you feel at home right away. Unfortunately it rained both nights, but it made the small, clean hut with a kitchen and bathroom a real plus. Hope to get out that way again and visit. Thank you again!
Nice location on a hill side. Sites were a little overgrown from COVID and tried to use the back site. But due to the hill we ended up losing some camping gear. Recommend making many small trips if going to the back site.
