It's almost leaf peeping season here in Maine!!!!

Come pitch a tent in our super private woods, in the valley of central Maine!  Enjoy primitive camping, complete with your own firepit. Enjoy your privacy, as the sites are spaced out, and far enough away to listen to the woods, rather then fellow campers.    Firewood is available for purchase, and there is plenty of it on the forest floor for the taking as well.  As the season gets colder- Maine keeps its beauty!   This is the perfect time of year to pack up your flannel, a nice pair of hiking boots, and come explore all the best nature spots in Midcoast Maine- when the weather is cool, and the bugs are long gone!!!

Please be safe, and respect any fire bans.  Very small creek on property to wash hands, and collect water for dishes etc.. There is an outhouse on the property. , and power available to charge devices.. As hosts, we are happy to help in any way we can-  forgot a blanket?  a toothbrush?  Just let us know.  Need help starting a fire?  We are happy to teach you the proper way to start a campfire using natural surounding materials!    We want you to enjoy every minute!

At this time we will allow pets, but they must stay on leash.  Hot showers are available 12 minutes away at our farm and arts general store. As a fellow nature traveler, I welcome you to enjoy the land as your own. Please leave nothing but footprints, and feel free to ask us about all the local must see gems. There are hiking trails out the driveway and just a short drive to some great marked trails and state parks!

We are rural, but only a short drive in either direction to hit restaurants, breweries, art galleries, and swimming holes! Only 25 minutes to the coast, and 20 minutes to the MOFGA fairgrounds.  If you need anything special for your trip- dont hesitate to ask :)  Cheers!

Travel safe, but get here soon!!! ;)

Kimba was a wonderful host, and I would both recommend the campsite to others as well as stay there in the future, and probably will!

Thanks so much for leaving your site even nicer then you found it! We kept the cool primitive built chair you crafted for other guests to enjoy! Everyone enjoys the deep fire pit you made! Best camper ever!

We moved from Utah and needed a place to stay because my fiancé started work before we could move into an apartment. Stoner Hill was definitely an upgrade from our primitive campground (fire ring + place to park) in the White Mountains and Kimba was super helpful and friendly.

Thanks so much again for enjoying the woods, and for your donations that other campers have gratefully used- I feel so honored that you blessed our land with your friends Wedding Ceremony. Truely a pleasure meeting you all!

The campsite is on a beautiful secluded piece of land. Lots of hiking on the property. Very welcoming and loving people. Felt safe around them and the space. Had lots of fun! Would definitely recommend!

We spent 2 nights at Stoner Hill. Kimba and Jordan were helpful and accommodating canvas site was nice, in the Woods by a stream. We had some difficulty finding Stoner Hill - Google Maps tried to take us to the upper and Stone Hill Road lights turned out to be a hay field. Make sure you drive around to the are there end of Stone Hill road.
