Site is in the lawn/woods on my land near my home; not an oceanfront campsite and does not allow fires, it's on a hillside, but beach access is a short hike on a trail or walk on the road.

LEGAL: This site is not technically active as I am currently awaiting instruction from town officials. Hipcamp is purely at this pt a scheduling and informational tool. This site is preference to friends or friends of friends. If you req to book here and we know each other in real life this serves as *a scheduling & informational tool only & you will be refunded after your stay*. Nightly fee of $60/night for 2 guests and $10/additional guest is merely a suggested donation for upkeep of the land, any proceeds will help improve and maintain the campsite for further use. If you need a place to stay nearby Acadia East Schoodic Campground is $35 plus taxes a night and Mainayre is $40/night. Campsite rates are per night, for up to two adults and do not include Maine lodging tax (taxes applied during checkout).

There is a home nearby and there may be other campers on the property at sites apprx a quarter of a mile away. Although you'll find this spot to yourself, you will need to park/walk by my home to access the site. *You may hear some music or distant chatter from my porch or my home from your campsite.* You will not be able to drive down to the tent camping site to unload unless you have disabilities and a 4WD truck/suv; you must carry your gear a short walk. I have an ATV if you have disabilities and need assistance. If you need to car camp please make note of this, I may be able to arrange for woods camping elsewhere with ample notice-- but pls bear in mind you won't have a view of water from your site.

Site is near main house where I live with no neighbors around-- thus peaceful tranquility dusk til dawn or quiet hours 10pm-7am.

Good site for hammock camping; trees with good spacing. Enough level ground and space for a 4 person tent. 2 people at this site only as it is a much cozier smaller site. Short term camping only, ideal for getting out and exploring the area by day, not for hunkering down. No kiddos or doggos; I have outdoor cats that may sometimes roam, but they are sweethearts.

Please no fires here at this site. If you wish to have a fire please book one of my other sites or Acadia East. No driving onto the beach unless you're unloading canoes/kayaks. Alternatively I have kayaks for rent, don't have to book now as an add-on (too energy and weather dependent) just inquire when you might want them. No campfires at this site. No picnic table or chairs, no nothing, please byo. Please bring a camp stove or jetboil for cooking or heating food and be experienced with fire safety.

Located ~30 minutes from the city of Ellsworth, 15 minutes from the town of Winter Harbor, 15 min from the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia National Park, and 40 minutes from Acadia on Mount Desert Island/Bar Harbor via the Mud Creek Rd.

This is a pack-in pack-out leave-no-trace piece of land; there are no trash facilities or dumpsters, take your trash with you. A $50 cleaning fee will be charged to guests who do not clean up their site. There will be a portopotty on site. Dogs are fine on leash due to porcupine. I have outdoor cats that may sometimes roam, but they are sweethearts.

This site is rustic, to replicate a backcountry camping experience. Please keep this in mind before booking to ensure we meet you and your group's physical and aesthetic expectations. There are many other camping options that provide a more traditional amenity included experience.

Thanks for reading. Upon booking this site, you and every member of your party must confirm that you have read, understood and will abide by all Rules as stated.

Absolutely loved our stay with Lily! I wish I would have taken pictures to share the glory! So many birds to watch and hear if your into birding. Our site was cleared and private on the top of a hill over looking the ocean with a beautiful view of the sunset. There's hiking trails which we enjoyed at dusk giving a nice fall feel and the beach is also only a small trek away. Lily was very accommodating with all of our needs and even had cute lil land kitties roaming about looking for love. I HIGHLY recommend this stay if your an outdoor enthusiast!

Super cool and secluded spot in a must-see part of Down East. Access to beaches, scenic views, starry skies and all the wonders of Acadia. Lily gave great recommendations and was communicative during our stay while also abiding by our social distancing needs. Would camp here again!

This was our our first HipCamp experience and it will be hard to beat!
Camping on Lily’s property was so private and peaceful, it was our favorite experience about our entire visit to Acadia- it made our trip complete.
We actually didn’t want to leave our campsite at all but had do do some “site-seeing” adventures, (which were beautiful!) but in the end, Lily’s property was the icing on the cake for or first Maine visit and we were so happy to have found it!
She was super kind and welcoming , talked a lot about some local hot spots - since we are not into the tourist thing.
Highly recommended ❤️

Lily’s Hipcamp sites are well placed, clean and private. Lily is a wonderfully genial host who is concerned for her guests’ comfort and safety. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend Lily’s to fellow travelers.

Our only concerns were with Hipcamp itself—the online portal is flaky at best. Our communications to and from Lily were delayed causing confusion and misunderstanding. Hipcamp has NO customer service to speak of other than email which is useless when you need immediate help. I wonder what a guest or host would do in a real emergency situation.

This was our first experience with hipcamp and it exceeded all expectations! Lily's property is gorgeous and she is a very kind and helpful host. We could watch the sunset over the water from our tent, and had access to a basically empty beach.

Wow! Lily’s property is amazing. Well worth the price for the location and privacy.

Such a lovely place to stay after a day of cycling (bike tour). Very quiet for much needed rest.

You can tell Lily has a passion for people. She welcomed us in with open arms!!

Hi Tiffany, I apologize for being unavailable at times during your stay. I was out of range of cell service, hosting guests, and playing tour guide thus unable to meet and greet Tiffany and her partner when they arrived (with somehow unclear arrival instructions for the wrong site). How frustrating! Didn't get to meet them in person but tried a couple times. Things can get a little hectic here on this funny farm.
