Unexpectedly delightful
I couldn’t have asked for anything more. Kim and Don allowed us plenty of privacy, but were generous and kind. They offered all sorts of simple delights, creating a sense of unexpected abundance in our humble plans. The farm is beautiful. It’s a special experience to spend time on a working farm, but even without the incredibly cute goats, chickens, ducks and cats, you’d be charmed by the rustic beauty of downeast Maine.

Kim and her family were very kind and welcomed us into their property. They have a lot to see and offer, we loved seeing the goats! We were just passing through and only stayed the night, we wish we could have stayed to see more. Our site was a good size and close to a very clean porta potty. We stayed on a site that was very open with no trees but they also offered a wooded site if that’s what you’re looking for.

Kim and her husband were fantastic hosts that were super helpful and friendly. We want to go back for all the fresh goat cheese, duck eggs, chicken eggs, muffins, and bread that they fed us. Was a very unique and special experience. They clearly go above and beyond and we had a wonderful time. Interestingly, because they don't want you to use cook stoves at the campsite, you end up interacting with them more and taking advantage of their hospitality in the makeshift nook/kitchen that they provide for you near their house. Was definitely a highlight of our trip.

We absolutely LOVED our experience here! Kim was very accommodating and friendly, the goats and kittens were adorable, and the site was clean, well-maintained, and beautiful. This was a wonderful stop on our road trip, and I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. I’ll definitely be visiting again soon!
