Beautiful open space, and Bennet couldn't have been kinder. I highly recommend this place. Nearby in Belfast there's an amazing farmer's market as well.

Bennett’s camp is super close to town. It’s a perfect distance to get away from the hustle of Acadia. Belfast is lovely. Would highly highly recommend camping here if you want beauty, peace, but easy access to Acadia and/or busy downtown Belfast! Super amazing host too!

Bennett was a very friendly host and the open layout provided for beautiful views at night. Having said that, the site was otherwise not what we expected. It was very overgrown and we found ticks on us right by where we set up camp. We preferred to stay at a site with pines but that was on a different property and he recommended this site. And bring your own water. With some tlc, this camp can be great.

Bennet was great, super easy going and nice, gave us great recommendations on places to go while in town and gave us firewood and water. Me and my friends loved Belfast and think you will to and it isn’t super far from Acadia.

Stumbling on Bennett’s Duckback Farm Camp during our trip to Maine was a beautiful stroke of luck! We arrived with our truck later in the evening and found Bennett kindly setting us up with the fire we had secured some wood for. The stars were expansive over his beautiful fields and the moon was bright. We spoke for a while around the warmth and were so taken with Bennett’s kindness and hospitality. The next morning we awoke in the peaceful field and went down to the stream to scope it out for some fly fishing. We left only to secure a second night and return to the same spot that evening! We cannot recommend this farm enough for a no-fuss, peaceful experience! Furthermore, it’s within a reasonable distance from Rockland, Camden, etc, and for an unbeatable price. We hope to return to not only snag some of Bennett’s garlic but participate in a work song workshop!

Site was amazing for star gazing. It was pretty difficult to find at night so I would suggest arriving in the day time.

Bennett's campsite was great; a beautiful wide open field where wild turkeys roamed in the morning mist. It's incredibly close to Belfast, so if you're looking for something that feels a little more remote, but is not a long drive away from town this is a wonderful place to spend the night. Bennet was very welcoming, provided clear directions, and was incredibly prompt with his communications.
