Happy to be david's first guests!
David met us at the road, you have to drive further than your GPS says but the street address is well marked. He showed us two site options, one in the top of a mountain and the other by a pond. Both were well kept and had fire rings. He supplied us with firewood, drinking water, and chairs. It was very private and serene with a great view! He was super friendly and we were happy to be his first guests!
Looking down on creation
A stunning piece of land, the site is sat atop a hill that feel very remote but was just 15 or so minutes drive from Fort Kent. There is a massive fire pit nestled in a small stand of spruce for shade and several swaths of wild blueberries, which were in season. Beautiful sunset and sunrise and dome-like view of the celestial bodies.
Highly recommended, if your into those kinds of things.
Fabulous camp site. . ..
A gem of site with spectacular views and wide open spaces with lots of privacy. David P was very helpful and friendly, the campsite was clean, we felt very safe, and look forward to going back.
A very private campsite on top of a mountain. The site is in a meadow, which gives you a beautiful view of Maine and the stars, yet protected from weather by a small corpse of trees. It has a new picnic table and a wonderful stone fire pit, plus two Adirondack style chairs. There is a well-maintained outhouse at the edge of the meadow. Honestly, this may be my favorite camping spot in northern Maine!
Just perfect. So much space, Breathtaking views, best stars I’ve seen in ten years, GREAT site, chairs tables amazing fire pit..... David was a great host too, responsive to texts, helpful .... can’t wait to do it again
