Continuous Harmony Farm is located on the north side of Camden Hills State Park. When this area was originally settled, the farm was located on the "highway" from Camden to seasonal pastures in Lincolnville. The trails leading to the park still go by the old foundations that dotted the old Government Road from Camden. The farm has 46 acres of flowing pasture, hardwood forest and flower and vegetable gardens. At the heart of the property is a large farm pond that has been used to water livestock for generations. We hope you can visit us soon! Our farm abuts Camden Hills State Park, offering dozens of miles of trails for hiking and biking. Farm activities include looking after our flock of Katahdin sheep, laying hens, bee hives and vegetable and flower gardens. Hidden gem for dark sky lovers!

So quiet and peace here. We had a restful stay with the added atmosphere a working farm provides. So we woke up to bleating sheep. What a delightful experience! The location provided a WIDE viewing area for stargazing. Couldn't ask for anything better. Douglas is particularly responsive - we arrived late and had some confusion locating the farm. He was patient, informative, and easy to work with. 10/10 would stay here again. Thanks, Douglas.

A starry weekend

Beautiful space for camping, relaxing, being out in nature or even just getting away from the in-laws while they visit! Can't go wrong with Douglas, who gives you your space and makes you feel right at home on his land. You may run into a couple of other campers at the location but there is so much space it's still easy to have your own ideal spot to camp. Cameras at the ready, random animal sightings are frequent (I saw a beaver) and the sheep are very friendly and very talkative when approached. I slept with my rain cover off the first night so I could see out the top of my tent at the stars and it was amazing!

Aptly named gorgeous site

We loved our stay, were able to explore Maine and visit relatives and come back to incredible peace and quiet. Gorgeous animals, including Wendell the Newfie who got along great with our dog. The sheep are so relaxing to be around! Douglas is a kind and welcoming host who is very accommodating.

This was such a relaxing spot! It was so nice to be close to town while also feeling more immersed in nature. The wildflowers were abundant, the lambs are adorable, and you might even get a surprise visit from a friendly & curious newfoundland ☺️ come here if you are looking for an easy car camping spot.

The camp site proposes by Douglas is really charming. But in this july 2024 the pond at direct proximity of the camp was full of toad or frogs that shouted all night long, we had a very bad night.

Quiet & picturesque site well situated to get to other coastal spots for day trips. We took the Isleboro ferry and rode bikes around all day followed by a refreshing swim in nearby lake. Wish we had a picnic table at campsite though!

Such a gracious and friendly host, with a great farm location! Couldn’t have asked for a better first hipcamp! The frog pond and beautiful groomed grassy site was a pleasure to experience. Quiet, peaceful, great trails, sheep, woods, it had everything! Even their dog Wendell made great friends with our 2 pups. Will definitely be going back !

One of the most beautiful hipcamp sites we've ever stayed at, with a pond fill of bullfrogs, lined with roses and irises. Doug was friendly and easy going. He has a beautiful Newfoundland dog that our dogs loved to play with. Note that there isn't a whole lot of space to maneuver, and there are a few cars and other equipment that we needed to get around when the host wasn't available. This is also a Harvest Host site and other campers may arrive. It's up to the campers to figure out how to get in and out. If you continue up the dirt road there's a trail to cliffs with an amazing overlook. Easy to get to Camden and Rockland and the Lincolnville public beach is sweet too!

As so, many have said, this is a lovely spot. I only met Doug briefly, and he seems like a very nice guy. That said, along with the fact that I would go back, I have a few suggestions. When I first got to the place. I had no idea where to go, and there was no one around. Some information about a rising would be great. Also, information about trash and recycling would be great as well. Lastly, the spot is nice for two visitors. Two nights while I was there they were people who stayed overnight, and it felt cramped. It was an RV right in front of me for one night and the second night I had to maneuver around to get in. I really think if there’s a third site it should be somewhere else besides that main area in front of the pond. That said, I still want to highlight that it was a lovely spot to spend five nights.

Such a cute site! Beautiful and peaceful view to wake up to. We stayed by the pond, site was a tad smaller than expected but still plenty comfortable. There was one other camper by the pond with us but we didn’t feel it impeded our privacy. Douglas was responsive and helpful and I felt very safe in the site.

Great for Tents / Vans

Our stay was convenient while we waited for a spot to open up at Camden Hills State Park. And it is a very pretty field and pond if you are tent camping. However, I don't think this hipcamp should be listed as supporting Class A RVs, nor vehicles up to 40ft. The diagram showing parking along the side of the barn must be outdated - not only are the trees overgrown so that no Class A could fit there, there was also a boat trailer parked there anyway. We did end up fitting here in our 35' Class A, just in the side driveway in front of the barn, but we had to block the side driveway entrance for others. It kinda felt like we were paying a high price to just park in a driveway. Also, I really doubt a 40ft vehicle could make the necessary turn to park in front of the barn like we did.
