This cabin was like something out of my "little house on the prairie" dreams. It's secluded, off the grid and very rustic. It was perfect. There is no electricity but they have gas powered lamps and a gas powered stove for your use. They include all cooking utensils and linens, and there is an outhouse located just outside the cabin. There have three cabins for rent, and ours was a two story farm style cabin that could sleep up to six. We had such a good time, playing board games and enjoying being "unplugged" and off the grid for a weekend. There are trails all around the property, and Anne our host let us take canoes out on the river. We were totally secluded, and haven't enjoyed peace and quiet like that in too long.

This is a separate cabin down the road that they also have available.Just down the road is a fresh water source free for fill up! They have bikes, canoes and skis available for guests! We met our host Anne at the main ski lodge & center.

Anne is an excellent host who happily accommodated us following a late arrival. We stayed at the Fern Cabin which was perfect. If you’re looking for seclusion and a well-kept cabin, but easy access to town then this is the perfect place for you.

The Cabin was amazinggggg. So cozy. Wood stove keeps you very warm (we were here in late October so was necessary haha). Waking up to the view of the mountains in the morning was phenomenal. Feels super secluded while still being only about 10 minutes outside of town and a short drive from White Mountains National Forest for a TON of hiking adventures.

Anne the host is so nice, she is just the best.

Stars, so many, saw three shooting stars in about 15 minutes.

10/10 would recommend!

We had a wonderful time at Camp Fern (Stonewall Cabin). The view from upstairs was great, the fireplace was warm, and the woods were peaceful. I especially liked having so many trails surrounding the cabin without having to drive anywhere. There were plenty of beds upstairs and a larger eating area downstairs which would be ideal for a larger group looking to get away.

Cabin was as described and pictured. It was easy to keep warm with the wood stove and having the stove made cooking simple. The sleeping area was comfortable and slept four easily. The area was beautiful and felt private even though it wasn’t a long drive to reach the main lodge building. We didn’t luck out on our November weekend with the trails ready for skiing yet, but a snowshoe hike was a nice way to see the trail system and we look forward to trying skis on the trails in future. Don and Anne were kind and helpful. We would happily stay again!

Great spot nestled on ski trails on the side of a mountain. Very private, would recommend 4 wheel drive if the conditions are snowy or icy. Don had started the woodstove and brought in water for our arrival, we enjoyed a sunset ski and woke up to snow falling. Spacious cabin with kitchen essentials (including a gas stove and oven!)

Our dog loved running around and we loved having the fresh snow all to ourselves. We were just two people, but this would be a great spot for two couples with kids because of the lofts.

We stayed one night at Stonewall Cabin and we loved it! Easy to find, and it's a very quick cross country ski or snowshoe in from the parking lot (fine by me after a skiing for a few hours in the morning). We enjoyed a cozy night playing games by the wood burning stove in the glow of the three propane lights and a few candles. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all of the cooking ware one could need. Great spot!
