Just a half-hour drive from Portland, Bradbury Mountain is tame in comparison to many of the wild places across the state. The bonus? It’s got rockin’ amenities for folks that need that hot shower after a night under the stars. This park may be small, but it’s big on beauty. MIles and miles of trails do not discriminate and are open to all of you—mountain bikers, hikers, and horseback riders. Expansive views from the summit will make you wish you’d remembered your camera (don’t forget!). You’ll find that the campground gets crowded on summer and fall weekends, but as soon as you hit the trails, you’re alone with the forest.

Short drive to the ocean and a few minute walk to the mountain. The mountain can be submitted in 10 mins or an hour. I took the hour route and it was a beautiful walk and the view is gorgeous. Only complaint is the campsites are very close together without much privacy.

Close to Freeport And Portland Maine.
Good Showers.
Road Noise from trucks at time. Does not bother me.
Very nice campground.
