We have a small spring-fed pond for swimming & kayaking with a small beach and an outer float. While the spring keeps the lower depths cool, in August the top is warm and it may have a little more algae than we'd like, but it is tested clean water (trout like it).

The hosts were very welcoming and allowed us to pitch our tent anywhere on their beautiful property. They own goats and shared some goat ice cream with us and asked us if we wanted to try and milk them, which we did. We highly recommend Bluebird Pond Farm and will be sure to go back when we are in that area again.

With so much positive things to say, I’m not even sure where to begin… Meeting the hosts of this beautiful place was honestly the highlight of our trip. We not only left feeling rejuvenated and renewed, but we left with so much inspiration to move forward with our dreams that closely match that of this wonderful family. The property was AMAZING (sun, shade, swimming, exploring, swinging, and of course THE ANIMALS). We cannot wait we to return! This property and beyond is all you need to relax, connect with nature & one another. Love to the hosts and those future visitors that get to enjoy this amazing experience.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay! I only wish I hadn't been so busy so we might have had more time to hear about your plans. Be sure to check out MOFGA (Maine Organic Farmer and Growers Association). There's a wealth of knowledge and learning opportunities available for interested farmers.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bluebird Pond Farm. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed, and it was a gorgeous spot! The goats are adorable, and the goat cheese they shared with us was delicious. It was a true slice of heaven!

We have the nicest guests! It was our pleasure to have Kayla and her boyfriend (I’m trying so hard to recall, begins with a J am I right?) We wish you all the best teaching Jr. High during this challenging time Kayla. Come see us again.

My wife and I had a relaxing and pleasant stay on this beautiful property. Hosts were super helpful and friendly throughout the whole process before and during our reservation. We will definitely come back next time we are in Maine!

Once we parked next to the barn, we were able to use the cart they provided for our gear, the fire pit and the firewood. Made things a lot easier to carry around the pond to the camp site.

The table and bench at the site were extremely helpful for cooking and sitting by the campfire. They had spring water and goat milk stocked in the fridge in the barn.

Very dog friendly spot. Our dog loves the outdoors and swimming so this was perfect for us. She was very curious about the goats and the lama but was able to settle down and meet them. All of their animals were super sweet, especially their small labradoodle named Razzi!

Oh good! I do hope we'll see you here again. There's cheese for you to enjoy on your next visit even if you're just passing through. Thanks for being such helpful guests at a difficult time (I was called away to be with my 93 year old dad on his deathbed so I wasn't here and never got to meet our guests.) Your kindness and generous help with Razzi and the goats were a big help. Thank you Luke!

Susan was so phenomenally gracious and attentive - offering not only a wonderful location, but such a beautiful experience! She made sure we had all amenities, firewood, fresh grapes (!), and let us spend as much time as we pleased to bask in the sun and farm the next day. A wonderful weekend!

I am so late with this response. Better late than never! Thank you for your kind words. I so enjoyed meeting you two! And you are the first artist to set up an easel in the field near the pond. It was hard to leave knowing I wouldn't see the finished piece. Please come back again. I'll have goat cheese next time!
