The vibe at The Animal Farm
If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
I had never been to the area, but everything around was so pleasant and the land itself was extremely well kept. The hosts were as kind as can be. Lots of land for tents. I would even say that is a great spot to stay if you want to go into New Orleans for a day, but not stay in the craziness of town.
Friendly hosts with a small farm on the Mississippi River and in close proximity to the French Quarter. Amble space to setup your gear. Amenities include two goats, three horses, a hammock, tree swing and a barn with an outdoor solar shower. Some overhead airplane and industrial processing noises at times. A good economical camping option when visiting New Orleans. Give it a try.
