Anthony and Lauren are the kindest hosts. Their property is a bit of a hidden gem, only a 20 minute drive from Baton Rouge. There are multiple ponds to roam around and try your hand at fishing, a great covered lounge area with space for eating and hanging out, and just a very warm, nice atmosphere. They took us on a ride around the property on their 4x4 to show us some of the highlights. We even climbed up the treehouse that is in the works and will have a great lookout spot over all of their property. I would probably bring a tent next time I go out, but we did find a few good spots for the hammocks. Definitely a great, relaxed spot.

Great hosts and great place to camp! We had plenty of space to set up tents, hike, start a fire. The hosts were very accommodating and we felt welcome from the start, though after check in it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The area is as good as it gets for being only 30 minutes outside of Baton Rouge and there’s even a beach on the Comite River nearby. We look forward to going back and thanks again for the hospitality!

We chose to camp here for out 1 year wedding anniversary. Lauren greeted us when we arrived and was very kind and welcoming. Firewood was set out for us, as well as a boat to paddle around in. There are fishing trails to explore different ponds around the property. Our puppy had a great time too. Would definitely recommend.
