Lytle Farms is a 70-acre property consisting of a landscape that transitions from bayou frontage to open pasture to secluded pond to wooded trails to open coastal marsh. We are very near the Gulf of Mexico in southern Louisiana and are defined by our unique culture, our food and our life among the fresh and salt waters that surround us.
Anne and I are new to the idea of hosting outdoor guests but we love the land and we love to share it with others.
If the property were what you seek, you would have access to bank fishing, use of our pirogue (a canoe-like boat), access to our small private pond and connections to things like charter fishing, swamp tours and other aspects of our unique way of life.
Do keep in mind that we are in a sub tropical climate zone so humidity, heat, reptiles and a bug or two are part of life here. All are manageable but the experience here is somewhat unique.
