Our 200 acres in northwest Louisiana consists of about 80 acres of hay meadow and the rest mixed pine and hardwood forest, We have a small organic garden and a few chickens, dogs and horses. The land was once roamed by Caddo Indians and then farmed in cotton and beef cattle. Keachi Acres has been my home for 25 years and has been in my family for 5 generations. It has a quiet beauty that guests enjoy. It is a place to rest and connect with nature and yourself. Our mission is to try to live as sustainably as possible and share this special place and the knowledge gained by living here.

Campsite in the country

I loved staying here. The beautiful land, peace and quiet, and cute animals made this a great experience. Mary was hospitable, friendly, and made me feel safe and comfortable. I hope to come back some time!

Relaxing site with an excellent hos

Really enjoyed our stay at the farm. Had a great time walking around and seeing the animals. Mary was wonderful. Hope to return with the family and stay again some time - 5 stars!

Keachi Acres Cabin

We loved our stay at Keachi Acres! Mary is the perfect host; she's got an amazing property with oodles of hiking trails, a pond for fishing, stunning scenery and a rather silly/lonely duck that followed my daughter and son around the property. Loved it-couldn't recommend enough!

Keachi Acres Cabin

Mary and Milt were amazing hosts, they really wanted to make sure you enjoyed your stay.! We rented the bunkhouse for a B'day party for my 14 year old boys. All the boys loved it. There was a pond for fishing, nature trails for exploring, fields for playing soccer, and Maggie the dog, that never left their side. A very peaceful escape from the city.

Loved our stay here. Mary was an absolute delight, as well as her amazing border collies. The cabin was a perfect replica of what you'd imagine a 90's summer camp cabin to look/feel like. 200 acres of beautiful forest, creeks, and wildlife, it's the perfect getaway from home.
