Move in slow motion and take in the sites. We live in a small town called Glynn and on a road called "Arbroth." Surrounded by sugar cane fields, we have a collection of animals here at our hobby farm. Pitch your tent on our 3 acre property and you can wake up next to chickens, rabbits, or even sleep in the pasture with the horse. Nice quiet farm road. You'll get to experience trains and tractors passing and watch beautiful sunsets. You might even catch the farmers harvesting the sugar cane. Crickets will sing you to sleep. Collect eggs from the chickens and make your own breakfast! Play with the bunnies and enjoy our peaceful life. We are located 10 miles from “town.” Many free activities, antique shopping, and historic sites are nearby. Far enough to feel miles away, but close enough to explore many places. We would love for you to visit our farm and explore the beauty of Pointe Coupee and West Baton Rouge parishes.

We enjoyed our stay with Carlyn and her family! We came in late on a cold night, and were able to set up, make a quick dinner around the fire pit, and enjoy a beautiful huge moon before getting in the tent. It was a lovely setting even in the dead of winter - I'm sure it's absolutely gorgeous the rest of the year. We were touring the River Road, which was only a mile from the property. The property is narrow (it goes back into woods, which were great), so there were other lots fairly close by, but the chicken, horse, and privacy wall draw your focus to the wonderful view of the back woods. There are no other places along the River Road that accept tent campers, so this place is a gem!
