About Upscale Camping: Total Privacy!
Enjoy privacy at this one room camping cabin that can sleep up to four; you cannot see another dwelling from the cabin. It sits all by itself in a field with a view of rolling hills and woods. You will enjoy watching the beautiful stars above you in the evenings, too. Inside, it is a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. This cabin is upscale from most basic camping cabins as it has a full size bed with fitted sheet and comforter. There is an ample bunk area for your gear, plus an eating bar to enjoy meals. A propane wall heater will keep you toasty warm in the cooler months. The generator is available for lights or A/C in the summertime. (Extra fee for use of generator). There is no indoor plumbing, but an outdoor water spigot (tap water), right outside the door, and an outhouse just far enough away. You need to bring everything with you as you would for primitive camping. Suggestions are: lanterns, flashlights, bedding, pillows, pots, pans, eating utensils, camping stove, paper, matches, towels for yourself and washing dishes, soaps, and anything else you want. Other perks include: rocking chairs on the deck, fire pit, table top charcoal grill and picnic table. If you like to camp but don't want to get as primitive as tent camping, Hilltop Cabin is the perfect spot for you.

This property was absolutely beautiful. Rolling hills carpeted with fall foliage, ponds scattered throughout the property, beautiful stands of pine, and super nice and accommodating hosts. They even left fresh baked cookies in the cabin for me.
If you're into off-roading, Wildcat Adventures is a short drive away; only downside is that I could still hear the engines roaring until 11:00pm. Nearby Wildcat Battlefield has awesome historical monuments to explore, and the long-distance hiking Sheltowee Trace is accessible from the access road to the cabin. Only real downside to my stay here was that there were quite a few wasps in the cabin; however, this is something that I'm sure the hosts will remedy in the near future.
Overall a 4/5 experience.
