Primitive, rugged, private lakefront campsite on 1.5 wooded acres with another 4 non-developed acres next to property. This property gives you access to Rough River Lake which is a large lake approximately 5,000 square acres. About 200 ft of waterline on property. Tent area is close to parking, 10 x 20 deck and firepit (with grill grates) area down by lake. Canoe available (lock code provided when you book), and you must supply life jackets and paddles. Great fishing, kayaking, swimming, boating area. Beach is 15 min drive, Mammoth cave less than an hour. There are Amish vendors selling fruit, vegetables and crafts minutes away. Excellent wildlife viewing, large limestone rock outcroppings, and persimmon trees dropping fruit in the fall. Boat ramp right down the way available. Campsite is on a hill but there is a perfect level spot for 6 - 8 tents about 50 feet from parking, or on the deck down by the lake. Parking pull-off can accommodate 2 large vehicles.
