We had a wonderful night staying here in our tents. The owner, John was extremely accommodating and his daughter, Jes that does his reservations was amazingly responsive throughout the reservation.
The listing is just 3-4 miles off I-75. The location is an RV Park with tent spaces too. There is a music festival stage down a path towards the river and it looks like they must have pretty cool concerts here.
They had nice bathrooms and I think a shower location although I didn’t use it.
We felt completely safe here. It was a gorgeous, expansive location along the river.
This was our first Hipcamp and thanks to John and Jes it won’t be our last!

The grounds are just beautiful! My parents getting settled. The owner let us know that the stage was undergoing some remodeling but high and dry was all we cared about! The stage. It was pouring rain so the owner let us camp here. Very sweet

There is a store that offers kayak rentals and advertises hot coffee. We had so much fun and were treated exceptionally well. I appreciated the ride to the drop off point and directions to get back. Such a beautiful area with lots to see.

The owner was super nice.. they made everything easy and comfortable, from picking a site, kayaking to helping find hiking trails. It was a great get away for my daughter and I. Plus my daughter loved the camp dogs... lol.

Wonderful camping weekend! Pitched a tent in a nice, secluded area. Kayaked. Met some really nice people, even while social distancing lol. Bathrooms are being renovated so it's only gonna get better. Looking forward to going back soon.

In an area with.lots of off-roading adventure activity, Rockcastle Riverside offers a unique focus. This is a great riverside campground with primitive and RV sites that generally sees little motorized activity. There is a nice swimming area in the camp suitable for little ones. Festivals here are as cozy feeling as you could ever want. The hosts are both friendly and interesting to converse with. I would recommend to all.
