We enjoyed the simplicity of the camp. The host were very welcoming and excited to see us. We plan on using Patrick’s point again in the future as well as recommending it to those friends of ours who love the river camping experience. There is something great about a simple weekend in the beauty of Gods creation here in the great state of Ky.

The river has good flow and can be seen in this photo even though the levels were low. These rocks were the perfect setting for lunch. At 1 point the sound of the water enticed my sun to nap on the rocks before we left. This is 1 of several bald eagles that seemed to follow us on the river. Almost as though they were watching over us by waiting on us then flying ahead and waiting for us again down stream all the way to the falls. Truly a sight to beholdEnding the trip at the takeout point just beyond this beautiful bridge at the falls.
