At the moment we have 1 primitive campsite on top of the bluff that overlooks a cow pasture, an old farm house and barn below. There is a nearby parking area that could hold a few vehicles with a short 4-6 minute walk down the trail to your campsite (depends which site). We are in the process of building a 1.5 mile hiking trail that will wrap around the top of the bluff for views from three sides; there will be plenty of signage (in the future) to help you find the way back to your campsite. During Spring and Summer time the cover is so thick that you can't see off the sides of the bluff. In the evening you will occasionally hear coyotes in the distance, and there are plenty of wild turkey and deer seen in the area, as well as other small wildlife. The night sky on a clear night is pretty amazing here, but you will need to find a clearing or come down to the cow pasture for the best viewing. We are only 49 miles away (about an hour drive) away from the Mammoth Cave National Park visitor center and 34 miles away (about a 40 minute drive) away from the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green.

Host was very helpful, and has done a great job developing the property for hiking/camping. We stayed both on the river, and Bluff sites. Fresh laid hen eggs made available on the bluff made a great breakfast.
This is a great location and we will be back to explore more of the property!
Had the run of the place.
This location was amazing. We stayed by the river the first night, where there is a nice landing if you wanted to swim or launch a kayak.
The bluff was my favorite. Several good spots to make camp. The owner has done a great job marking and creating trails to hike on the property. We will be back!
Space was very private. Nice forested area. If you’re looking to relax in the woods this is a great place! If you need a view, this is not the place. Bring extra bug spray for tics, and bring a bit of your own firewood to make sure you have dry wood to add to the wood that’s there. The host was very nice and helpful.
One of the best
This was hands down one of the nicest camping experiences around. The host was great! Professional, helpful and made sure everything was perfect. The restroom just up the trail was so clean and nice my wife was impressed. The site is perfectly private and serene. You really can’t ask for a nicer time. A special thanks to James who seems like a friend after only one visit. Highly recommended.
My stay at Lazy J Farms was pleasant, our campsite was very private and had access to a great fire pit. The host James was gave us a quick tour of the site and was very polite. For the price, this is a great place to camp.
