The site is in a small town on a dead end road that is good for walking and biking in the evenings. There is a 1 mi woodland trail behind the community center 2 blocks away that leads to a rocky creek. We are within an hour of Mammoth Cave National Park, Peace Valley Amish Market, Rough River State Park, Nolin River State Park, the Lincoln Trail and Birthplace, the Corvette Plant and Museum, Beech Bend Park & Dragway, Owensboro Riverfront, NCM Motorsport Park, the Bourbon Trail (Bardstown), Bernheim Forest, and My Old Kentucky Home.
