Kendall Campground

Kendall is the largest campground in Lake Cumberland Park, and you’ll believe it when you see everything that’s here. You’ve got zero excuses not to get on the water with two (that’s right, two) boat launches, one above and one below the dam. These give you access to both the lake and the river, so go ahead and take your pick. What little time you don’t spend on the water can be taken up walking the trails, checking out the local wildlife, and just enjoying the views from the shore. As you can see, there’s plenty to do if fishing isn’t your thing. But doesn’t the fact that a record-setting rainbow trout was caught here make you want to grab your tackle box? All this awesome stuff makes this place one hot ticket, so reserve your spot early.
