Joanne and her husband are incredibly kind and welcoming! The property is gorgeous and well maintained, with lush tree views from the cabin deck. Gorgeous dock at the water with any water item you’d need (floats, kayaks, canoe, pool noodles, life jackets). Two call outs: 1) the cabin next door is VERY close, like maybe 10 feet away? We were fortunate in our stay and had a lovely quiet family in the cabin next door. I could see this being not as optimal, depending on who is renting that cabin. It can be a bit awkward when you’re on the deck and another family is also out on their deck. It would be an AWESOME stay for two small families or couples traveling together and renting out both cabins! 2) The hike down to the water is tough- there is a pathway with stairs that make it easier, but once you get closer to the water, be prepared to do some rock climbing to get to the dock!

Great place to be close to the lake! Cozy cabin, great deck and wonderful use of kayaks, canoe and paddle boat! Although, I loved just swimming off the dock. Super peaceful and great, pet friendly place!

Joanne and her husband were amazing hosts! We decided to stay at her place because of the private dock and kayaks and it did not disappoint. Where they’re located on the water is perfect to kayak or canoe around and see how beautiful it is there.

The cabin was a perfect size for me and my friend. We drank coffee on the back porch in the morning and enjoyed the view. All around great experience and we will definitely be coming back!

Ps if you stay check out the Cumberland Falls State Park nearby and hike to eagle falls. It’s so worth it.

We had a really nice time during our stay. The host was very accommodating and even brought over board games (our daughter was with us). It made for a really nice weekend away. The cabin is close to everything in town and a good jumping off point to the parks.

We loved staying at here. It was such a cute and simple little cabin. The lake was kind of hard to get to for fishing but younger people would be able to make it. We will definitely be back!

This was the perfect getaway! My friend and I really enjoyed the cozy, clean cabin and the amazing view of the lake! We received some great suggestions from our hosts of where to hike and grab a snack. Our hosts were available if we ever needed anything and we also used their kayaks and saw some terrific views. The dogs were super friendly and played well with my friend's dog, Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice place to escape and relax!
