Handyland is tucked away in the rolling hills and valleys of Northern Kentucky. We're conveniently located near the Ark Encounter, the Kentucky Speedway and of course the Bourbon Trail. If you're looking for a perfect getaway...bring your camper / rv or simply a tent and unwind with the surrounding beauty.Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem. You'll find yourself nestled next to the woods on the ridge of our beautiful family farm. This listing features a newly converted pop up camper cabin. Truly a one of a kind. Enjoy over 200 acres by hiking our hills, pond fishing, swimming the creek, grilling some steaks all while sipping on some fine Bourbon. Everything has been updated with all the modern amenities while still providing that rustic appeal you've been looking to experience. I personally service the bathroom area everyday to make sure things stay nice and clean for you during your stay. Your cabin is capable of sleeping up to four people. There's two cozy full size beds, with one bed slightly smaller than the other. The cabin itself does not have an attached bathroom. However, I've custom-built a shower and bathroom that sits conveniently located in our barn right next to where you'll be parking your vehicle. The barn and restroom area is a short walk to the cabin, not more than 30 yards. I personally service the bathroom area every day to make sure things stay nice and clean for you during your stay. Picture a campground with a bath house. That's what we've built for you to enjoy while staying in your camper cabin. You'll enjoy your privacy and will love the open feel the shower provides! You'll also enjoy a sitting area inside the cabin that features a 32" smart TV. Wifi is provided while staying in the cabin, and you can watch the provided channels or connect to your own streaming platforms to enjoy your favorite shows. The sitting area in the cabin also consists of two tables for you to use while eating or even playing a game of cards. Also included with your stay is an outdoor dining area I've built in the barn. I've called it the Barnhouse Pantry. The pantry sits next to your bathroom in the barn. I have snacks, drinks, ice, and firewood available in case you're in need. You'll also have a dedicated refrigerator in the pantry for you to use during your stay. This particular area is open to other guests who are also staying in other cabins on the property but mostly geared for your personal use.

Rustic Camper Cabin - Neark Ark

The little cabin was really wonderful. There was a space heater inside the warmed the place up for the chilly night. I spent the night by the fire pit roasting marshmallows and enjoying nature. I saw plenty of wildlife. The bathroom and kitchen area were really nice and well kept. If you're looking for solitude, cabin 1 is probably a little more private (if sitting on the porch cabin one was to the left and the homeowner's house was to the right), but there were these nice little privacy screens on both sides. The hosts were super kind and unobtrusive. I plan on coming back!

The cabin was clean and well decorated. Very comfortable bedding! Great scenery, wonderful land. Josh, thank you for being such a kind host and steward of the land. I hope to return to this slice of paradise one day!

Handyland

Josh and his family were awesome hosts. From the moment we arrived, offering us fresh water for our fresh water tank, helping us get our camp set up, to bringing a grill and a fire ring. Oh, and all the firewood we could burn. The land is beautiful with some interesting history. We took advantage of one of the spots with power, next time we will be boon docking(no power, no water, just nature). We will definitely be back soon.

Happyland is the perfect name for this hipcamp location. The service that you will receive at Happyland is like no other. If you forgot your grill, Josh will offer to bring you one. They will stand in the pouring down rain and help you park your rig. Josh gave is a list of must visits on his land as well as some must visits in the small town nearby for a nice. The service we received was 100 times better than any campground and the view was priceless. We had an amazing experience and can't wait to return. If you are looking for a place to put a camper or tent in the middle of nowhere and enjoy mother nature, then look no further. Happyland is your stop......you will not regret it.
