One spot with Eectric hookup (110, 30, 50 amp) and potable water/fill up nearby by the barn. One spot with water, sewer, and electric ( 30, 50 amp) by the house *Sewer hookup is contingent on how wet the ground is (with ground tending to be particularly wet in the Winter).

Come stay on our 22 acre Bluegrass Farm with open fields, a spring fed creek, wooded hiking trails and a bonfire pit. Experience the privacy, peace, and beauty of country camping, with the conveniences of the nearby city. Close to interstate as well.

Close to the interstate (I-64 and I-75). Two miles from restaurants, grocery, and stores; Three miles from Hisel Farm Park (hiking and horse riding trails); Five miles from Hamburg Pavilion (shop, dine); Six miles from Downtown Lexington Kentucky; Six miles from the Legacy Trail (paved bike and pedestrian trail); Ten miles from the Kentucky Horse Park; Eleven miles from Keeneland Racetrack.

We have 2 German Shepard/ Husky mix dogs who have 4 acres around the house and front barn to roam. This is also where the RV sites are. We can introduce you and/or your dogs to our dogs.  We typically put our dogs up in the house especially if you have a quick stay,  so this is why we tend to limit stays to one night.  If you or your dog are uncomfortable with big, friendly, but at times a bit much dogs, please look elsewhere for your perfect camping experience.

Farm and Forest was a lovely place to stay. Jennifer and her family were very gracious and friendly. Their property has a full hook up space for a small to a medium RV. They have games for kids and a firepit on the property. Their description about the camping sites is very accurate. All in all we had a great, if short, stay at this location.

Jennifer’s farm was awesome! We loved that it was really rural, yet only a ten minute drive to downtown Lexington. The surrounding woods had trails cut through, and a little creek that my dog jumped in. Highly recommend!

We had a very quiet and peaceful evening at the farm and forest.
The host provided everything we needed and then some. We had a bucket of twigs and another bucket of cardboard, paper, and dry grass to help start our fire. We also got a spectacular map of the property showing the trails. We really loved the map.
The best part was our camping companions Brother and Rolly.

The site was wonderful and incredibly convenient! The hosts were friendly and helpful upon our arrival, and their two dogs (Rollie and Brother) were a welcome addition to the grounds ... very sweet! Our site overlooked a gorgeous and vast field, and there were a couple lovely hiking trails that crossed over a nearby stream. A great trip! My only recommendation: We would have loved a fire pit right at our campsite, as opposed to having to walk (albeit not too far). We will definitely return!

Great spot, private & as described. We parked our camper next to an unoccupied house & had full hook-ups. Jennifer & family met us & delightful. Also, 2 great family dogs that appreciate pets!

We arrived in rainy weather, so we were not able to take advantage of a walk on their trails, which I had been looking forward to.
We ended up just parking and sleeping.

We had a great time on the property. The trails, creek, and field were beautiful and well maintained. The two we’ll behaved and beautiful farm dogs were our favorite part! We hope to be back again one day.

Jennifer and Tyler were welcoming and very responsive via text message, both on the road and while on site. The property is beautiful and we were there in an off season! Dogs were friendly and stood guard by our RV all night.
