Absolutely loved our experience! The others in the community of The Light Center were a pure joy to interact with! I brought 6 Guys with me, and we had one of the most memorable nights of all time. We hiked the property, built a fire, sat by the wood-burning stove, cooked meals, and soaked in all of the positive vibes!

The Barn was incredible! The story of the place itself was very cool and Robin clearly had a lot of passion regarding her purpose for having the barn and what it provided for those who stayed.

We loved everything about our stay at The Barn! Robin was very sweet and easy to coordinate with, and we had no issues with finding the Light Center (located in a beautiful area of East Kansas) or with checking in. We weren't exactly sure beforehand what the sleeping situation would be like, but we were pleasantly surprised to discover that we had our own room and a big water bed to sleep on! Both the barn as a whole and the room itself were quiet, cozy, and comfortable at night. It was also really fun to explore all the unique little quirks about the barn and the surrounding area. Darren the maintenance manager was very friendly, as were the other guests we met during our stay. Couldn't recommend this place more and hope to find an excuse to stay there again! Thanks again Robin!

The barn was very peaceful, and the hosts were so kind! When I forgot my dress there, they even were kind enough to mail it to me. This is a lovely place to stay when you're looking for an alternative to the usual kansas city lodging!
