Rural Retreat Close to Town
Wouldn’t stay again
It was overall a fine experience. Dan was friendly and helpful. Got us a fire pit and fire wood all set up. We had the place to ourselves and Dan had recommended the pond to set up tent. The frogs in the pond are so beyond loud and the traffic driving by is definitely annoying. My dog is a barker and was seen as aggressive because of this. The judgement didn’t sit well with me. After very little sleep throughout the night we were woken up by the hosts two dogs barking at our tent at 6:30 am. Unfortunately this is a site I would not recommend if you are a light sleeper or have a bigger breed dog that barks.

Rural Retreat Close to Town
Dan was very welcoming and friendly which always gives you a good, safe feeling when trying a new spot out. I was the only one camping and had the area to myself. Nice mowed field with some tree cover if needed. Clean, too! Felt safe, great option for me while passing through town.

Rural Retreat Close to Town
Beautiful property, however our Fifth wheel didn't level out well without high riser blocks as their was a burm on the property, so we couldn't stay at the property. But it sure was a beautiful property. We communicated with Dan and conveyed our issue and chose to stay at our daughters place, also told Dan to keep the money we had paid for the reservation. Never heard a word back from Dan.

Wey peaceful and quiet. Good space and well maintained. I would definitely stay again. Plus, Dan and his wife are super nice and helpful!
