What an incredibly unique experience! You will love Missile Silo Adventures. The tour was fascinating; Matthew was so hospitable and kind; the property was beautiful; this was an awesome camping experience.
Georgeous camping with a bonus!
I was expecting the missile silo in the middle of my camping adventure to be a nice stopover and instead it turned out to be a highlight of my trip. The beautiful landscape complete with a gorgeous sunset and the wind turbines not only gave the ultimate Kansas camping experience, but there was so much more! The missile silo tour took about an hour and not only was a great insight into American history but also a look forward into the possibilities for survival and sustainability. Matthew the host lit a fire for everyone and we had a great visit as the sun set. There is also a lake nearby with great swimming and views. I highly recommend this campsite! Would love to come back and stay longer.
Matthew was very hospitable and had a really cool piece of property with big ideas to go with it. It was one of the highlights of our trip! Definitely recommend!
Matthew was awesome and his dog Buddy! He enthusiastically walked us around the property describing the history, then we entered the underground silo and command center which he explained in detail the Differences in an S and E Silo and Next version was the Titan. Very interesting!! Views on the property were great. He even had a fire for us and two other couples, we enjoyed good conversation and a restful night. Google and Maps directions are misleading. Contact Matthew for best directions, but very easy access and short distance off I-70 on paved roads.
Matt’s property was so incredibly cool. In addition to the awesome silo tour, the grounds were set up for a real fun time with a communal camp fire and cornhole-type activities. Will be staying here again in the future!
The atmosphere was awesome and Matthew was a great host! There were several games and activities to do while staying and the tour was amazing! We had a blast venturing deep underground and seeing the work that has been put into an amazing piece of history! It is definitely a MUST SEE and Stay!

Such a cool stop if you're driving through Kansas and need a place to stay for a night! The silo is surreal and Matthew was very welcoming.
