At this spot, you'll be removed from all sight of people and sounds of civilization-- its perfectly peaceful and quiet. The only noise you'll hear is the rustle of trees and occasionally our herd of cattle that grazes nearby.
This campsite has been in our family for several decades. Many happy memories have been made here. Will you make some, too?

Why would we dry camp anywhere else? The privacy and River access of this site gave us endless opportunities for family activities! Having the Jako Farm just down the road also gave us a place to grab some extra food (like when we ran out of eggs) or healthy snacks! We kayaked from the Yoder Bridge straight to our site and the kids played in the river for hours without seeing another person around!
This is a beautiful and very private plot. Just you, the river, and some nearby cows. I drive in before sunset and the surrounding area was breathtaking during magic hour. You follow a dirt road to the gate and there’s a welcoming sign to let you n in ow you’ve made it. Wish I could have spent a day on the river but was a perfect stopping point on a cross country trip
This spot was great. A prime little area right near the river. Very peaceful. Will certainly return.
We had such a great time at Daniel’s farm on Cottonwood #2 site. Our campsite was less than a 2 minute walk to the sandy riverbank. Our 2 yr old loved seeing the cows and sheep that were out to pasture on the farm. We made an appointment with Jako Farm to visit their store and left with some locally sourced fresh smoked Gouda. No complaints and hope to camp here again soon!

The river spot was so great! I wasn’t sure how high the water would be but there were good spots for our little kids to play safely. We even spotted the bald eagles! The campsite suited our needs just fine. A pig fire pit and large picnic table accommodated our group quite well. Beware of poison ivy on your way to the river from the camp site. I’d highly recommend this spot for families and group camping.
Site is as described, very quiet. Make sure you know how to identify poison ivy!
An excellent, quiet camping spot near the river. Lots of fireflies, bird songs and quiet. Don’t forget to visit the store for delicious grass-fed eggs, Greek yogurt and sausages. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.
Great 2 hour tube float back to the campsite from the Yoder bridge
