Today, we’re excited to announce that the Hipcamp app for iOS is now available to download in the App Store. No matter how you like to camp — from pitching a tent, to parking your RV, to glamping in a cabin (and everything in between) — it’s now easier than ever to plan and book your next outdoor adventure, entirely on the go. With first-hand, community-sourced information, photos, and reviews spanning more than 300,000 campsites across the country, Hipcamp is the most comprehensive camping resource in the US.
Hipcamp’s mission is to get more people outside, and as summer camping season quickly approaches, we wanted to build a product that would help us achieve this mission by creating a mobile experience that unlocks access to hidden, undiscovered private camping destinations.
Key features you can enjoy while using the Hipcamp app:
– One-of-a-kind camping experiences: By partnering with private landowners, Hipcamp showcases hidden, off-the-beaten-path outdoor experiences entirely unique to the hosts who create them. From camping on private vineyards to glamping in cozy cabins, Hipcamping is entirely personal, always memorable, and never cookie-cutter.
– Filtering for every travel need: Looking for a pet-friendly RV site near Yosemite? Glamping near the Great Smoky Mountains over Thanksgiving? Group campsites for 30+ people right on the Pacific Ocean? The Hipcamp app filters campsites and lodging according to your travel needs, including price, group size, structure type, pet-friendliness, amenities (from toilets to outdoor kitchens), and access to activities such as hiking, fishing, and surfing.
– Detailed campsite information: With community-sourced photos, reviews, recommendations, and campsite details, we’ve compiled the most relevant information to make sure you’re equipped to choose the best possible camp or glampsite for your outdoor getaway.
The Hipcamp app is now available on iOS through the App Store and will be coming soon to Android. If you’re an iPhone user, download the Hipcamp app and find yourself outside.
