Hipcamp Newcomer Awards 2024: US Edition

To help you find the best camping in the country, each year we compile data from bookings, reviews, and ratings across more than 500,000 available sites. We use this to identify top-performing properties and crown Hipcamp Award winners—just in time for camping season!

In 2024, we’re delighted to introduce the Hipcamp Newcomer Awards. This category rewards properties and the Hosts who run them for making a name for themselves in just a short period of time. To name these winners, we looked for properties that recently joined Hipcamp and earned their very first booking in 2023, shortly before taking off with major success. We then studied everything from camper reviews to Host offerings to identify the new Hipcamps that made a splash in 2023.

Here’s to many more years of nights under the stars! How were winners selected?
