Ravasio will participate in “The Startup Playbook: Innovative Brands Fueling Growth In Outdoor Markets” panel on Friday, May 30.
Hipcamp founder and CEO Alyssa Ravasio will be speaking on a panel at the second annual Outside Festival and Summit happening from May 29-June 1 in Denver, Colorado.
The panel, The Startup Playbook: Innovative Brands Fueling Growth In Outdoor Markets, will take place at the Denver Public Library on Friday, May 30 at 11:25am MDT. Ravasio will discuss what the broader outdoor industry can learn from successful startups and share insights into how Hipcamp has scaled over the past 12 years to achieve and maintain category leadership to become the #1 app to find and book campsites.
This panel comes at a pivotal moment for Hipcamp, who announced last week that it has doubled its U.S. inventory to more than 500,000 campsites. The company now has the largest catalog of campgrounds, RV parks, and unique camping experiences ever assembled, all accessible through a single app. With this latest expansion, Hipcamp becomes the first and only app to unify all the campsites—from national parks to blueberry farms—everywhere you want to camp.
“It is an honor to be speaking alongside other industry leaders and experts at Outdoor Fest, who share our values of preserving the environment and promoting responsible outdoor recreation,” said Alyssa Ravasio, CEO and Founder of Hipcamp. “Spending time in nature has never been more important, and I look forward to sharing how Hipcamp is growing rapidly to further our mission of making it easier to getting more people outside.”
Ravasio has served on the Recreation Advisory Council for the Outdoor Industry Association to promote outdoor recreation and successfully led the advocacy efforts at Access Land to increase access to our national parks. She was recently named one of the 20 Most Influential People in the Outdoor Industry by Outside.
At Outdoor Fest, Ravasio will be joined on the panel by Eric Min, Co-Founder and CEO of Zwift, and Ryan Decker, Vice President of Strategy and Brand at Scout Motors. The panel is moderated by technology journalist, Jacob Ward.
