“There was nowhere to go but everywhere, o just keep on rolling under the stars.” Jack Kerouac
This time last week, we visited our friends in the South to host the last leg of our three-part Under the Stars campout series, just outside of Austin, Texas bordering the beautiful Pedernales Falls State Park. There was a lot to celebrate, including now being live in all 50 states, launching a new way for people to get outdoors with land sharing, and dammit, YOU, our awesome community of adventurers. To put it into perspective, this time last year we weren’t even live in all of California. U-S-A, this is just the beginning!
A thanks as big as Texas to all of our sponsors:
The North Face, Culture Collide (event & music gurus), Lagunitas (keeping the good time flowin’), Stumptown Coffee (seriously, 8 a.m. camp coffee demo), Banshee Wines, Deep Eddy Vodka, Goal Zero, Kammok, Outdoor Nation (recipient of all MiiR cup proceeds), Rdio (check that campout playlist), Young Magic, plus all of the amazing people that helped setup, synchronize, and steward the event.
Cell service was nowhere to be found. Enter the latergram, and soon enough our feed was bubbling full of outdoor inspiration. Welcome to Texas hill country:
