Announcing The Hipcamp Summer Campout Series

Get stoked! This summer, we’re excited to meet you around one of eight epic and communal campfires, as part of our summer campout series made possible by iconic outdoor brand, Eddie Bauer (they’re almost 100 years old!), and a number of other sponsors who we’ll be giving kudos to throughout the summer.

You may have been to one of our campouts last year in CaliforniaTexas, and New York. And while we love a good raucous in the outdoors, we’re more excited about hosting eight intimate, 2-night campouts of 50 people each this summer, giving you a chance to better connect with your friends, make new friends, and of course, connect with the land that you camp on.

Each event has a unique theme centered on helping you learn more about the great outdoors, with workshops led by the best and the brightest in their field. You might find yourself rummaging for the food you’ll be using to cook dinner at camp that same night, or making a one-of-a-kind fragrance to take home.

By now we know you’re wondering how you can get tickets to one of these sweet shindigs. Well, good news, they’re open RSVP to anyone! The cost is $95 per event (way better deal than a weekend pass to Coachella, right?) and we promise not to release tickets on the weekend, because we know you’ll be out adventuring. Make sure you have an account, and you’ll be first to know.

The Lineup (Sneak Peek)

Event 1: Foraging with Juniper Ridge and Forage SF

When: Friday, May 20 – Sunday May 22nd
Where: Camp Navarro, Anderson Valley, CA
Activities: Foraging nature hike with Juniper Ridge and Forage SF

Our first event is all about making rad stuff from nature. We’ll be foraging for fragrance on a nature hike and workshop led by Hall Newbegin, the founder of Juniper Ridge, learning about edible rummaging from the folks at ForageSF, selecting foraged ingredients to be included in a feast cooked by the talented gals from Native Co, and more.

Events 3 – 8: To be announced

Our summer campout series is made possible by Eddie Bauer. We’re thrilled to be working with them, as they have such a rich heritage in the outdoor world; Eddie Bauer himself patented the first down jacket – the OG puffy jacket pioneers! Perhaps you’ve heard of, or seen a puffy in the wild (we bet you have). Eddie Bauer shares our goal of inspiring and enabling more people to get outside. They also work with leaders and conservationists in the outdoor industry from their own guide and athlete team to nonprofit organizations like American Forests.

To stay in the know about tickets, simply make sure you’re subscribed to the Hipcamp newsletter for releases, and follow us on all the socials: InstagramFacebook and Twitter. Or, bookmark the event page(link tbd) and check back often!

Are you stoked? Let us know by tagging #Hipcampout and #LiveYourAdventure on all the things!

See you this summer,
