This building used to be a flower shop and was built using reclaimed barnboard and other re-purposed materials. Today, we grow vegetables and raise chickens, cows, and bees on the acreage.

    The Rookery Cottage
    We were looking for a spot to meet rendezvous with family, The Rookery Cottage was the ideal place! Our gracious host, Emily, was helpful directing us to nearby trails. Her beautiful chickens were an added bonus and provided us with breakfast the next morning. It was a lovely stay, we hope to return in the near future!

    The Rookery Cottage
    If you love to hike, this is the place to go! This is a massive property with hours worth of trails to hike. The cottage is spacious with a very nice bathroom and hot shower. The host was friendly and even went on a hike with us to show us more of the property. Next to the cottage are free range chickens so if you bring a pet, make sure to pack a leash. Highly recommended! We had a great time.
