This cabin was built with 110- 6*6*8 solid red cedar logs- a high insulation factor. Inside of the cabin has three screened in windows and door that opens- the double glass door does not open.
There is a huge wrap around deck with an overhead roof for the picnic table, propane stove, and chaise lounge. I have slept more on that chaise lounge outside then inside of the cabin.
Think of this as a tent but just a more protective cabin from elements. There is a wood burning stove. This cabin in located in the forest off road. You will need a four wheel drive vehicle-you have to drive car across the field or leave car on side of field then walk. This cabin is like a tent. There are no amenities here except God and nature. Think of this as a camping trip-bring everything except the tent. In addition, bring wood for wood burning stove. Please bring own head lamps, flash lights, over head lights, 2 inch high candles only- i do have containers to hold the two inch unscented candles, water, firewood, kindling, (you can pick up sticks in area), matches for wood burning stove, trash bags, sheets, pillows, sleeping bags, toilet paper, wash cloths, soaps, eating utensils, food, plates, cups, pots, pans, and bug spray and anything else you would bring to camp. I usually plan a week in advance. I place camping next to car in garage to get ready to go. This takes a lot of planning. I love this cabin but I do take everything with me. Why? If I leave bedding, sleeping bags, utensils, they could get dirty from a critter getting into cabin. This cabin is in the middle of a forest. I love it like this, I accustomed to planning and packing for days and enjoy my time in cabin.
Please sweep inside of cabin after you leave. If there is mud on your boots, please wipe that up with extra water you brought. Take all what you bring and do not leave anything ;especially food in the cabin.
