If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Jaclyn's property was so beautiful- rolling grass fields, a beautiful little pond, and clean. They mowed paths in the grass to walk in and at night you can sit outside your tent and watch the fireflies by the hundreds.
My dogs and I were so happy here! Plus- its close enough to town you can get supplies.
Jaclyn's place is a great landing spot for trips (cross-country in my case), not too far out of the way and with great access to a nearby state park that was very beautiful!
This was a wonderful Fathers day camp, im 30y and my son is 3, we had a great time. There is one communal large campfire pit about a 5min walk from each site, the prairie is gorgeous and sunsets are wonderful, we used our tiny grill for cooking while we were not using the communal. We did have a few large items in our car which was parked in a location only 50ft away (we ended up driving up During quick unload and quick load up at the bg and end of the trip.)
This was a great site! Jaclyn responded to all our questions promptly before we even booked the site, she was easy to get a hold of when we arrived, the space was absolutely beautiful, clean, and the sites were separate enough from each other to feel secluded. We specifically were looking to spread out and test out some new gear before a cross country camping trip and the sites are a little small to be able to spread out much at all. For a single tent though, even a big one for 8-10 people, there is room enough. Also parking is, by my guess, a couple hundred feet from the farthest site and since we had a lot of gear it was a little bit of a haul, but that, again, was specific to our needs. Nice walking paths were mowed into the tall prairie grasses, there is a communal campfire, and it was quiet all night except for the very distant hum of the highway. Really a great space overall, we may very well be back. Thanks Jaclyn!
This site is so beautiful! In the middle of the prairie with awesome views, fireflies at night and very secluded! Easy to find the site and Jaclyn was super helpful! Would 100% recommend and a great value.
Beautiful & quaint prairie stay
Jaclyn was very friendly, communicative, and accurate with her descriptions. We had a tiny problem finding the site, but I think that was due to Google maps & my boyfriend driving lol. The property is private & beautiful - the sunset was stunning! The campsites are very well maintained and separate from one another. Our dogs loved it here, too! The only thing I would suggest is not to camp here if you require a campfire! The communal campfire is cool next to the small lake, but was a bit of a walk from the campsites. Thanks for the awesome stay, Jaclyn!
Beautiful, peaceful campsite
We had a wonderful time staying at Jaclyn’s Rolling Prairie Estate and would definitely recommend it. The property is beautiful, on a rolling, grassy hillside with a few campsites and mowed grass paths. We enjoyed a lovely sunrise and sunset. The property was easy to find and the small pond and fire pit area were nice to sit at. It was a quiet, peaceful place to stay.
Quiet country setting
After a long drive from upstate NY this was the perfect, quiet & peaceful spot to spend the night! Easy to find, easy walk to the campsite. I highly recommend it!
