Our cute cabin in the woods is the perfect glamping opportunity. It is a 5-8 minute walk from our house and parking lot, but may be accessible by truck or SUV in dry weather. The 270 square foot cabin is completely off of the electric grid, but there is good cell phone service. It has a queen mattress in the loft, a wood stove for heat, cooking facilities including an antique propane stove (non-thermostat oven) and gravity fed rain water (non-potable). Large windows look out over a beautiful southern Indiana holler. Our farm is a permaculture homestead and plant nursery, and we also offer educational tours for a small fee. We are near the edge of the Hoosier National Forest, 15-20 minutes from Spring Mill state park, and 45 minutes from Patoka Lake recreational area. There is a nice little ski resort in town, minutes away, and we are just 20 minutes from the tourist opportunities around the French Lick casino.
