The Blue Door Cabin was just what my family of five plus our pup needed! Green Door Cabin is not even visible; great privacy for social distancing. The cabin has electricity, AC & heat, but no plumbing. We are usually tent campers, so having a cabin and bunks to roll out our sleeping bags on was a treat! We were grateful for the coffee pot and coffee for the morning. The outhouse was very clean. The site is on an incline, so steady feet are required. Firewood was provided and when we ran low, Greg brought us more within 20 minutes after a text! Annette showed our boys around, and introduced them to all of the animals; Frank the goat, 2 mini horses, ducks, and baby chicks. The wedding barn is able to be used if it is not booked; it’s a beautiful space with hammocks and board games. Hiking trails are mapped out and lead to a creek- which the kids and dog thoroughly enjoyed. We suggest long pants with bug spray. The ticks were especially bad at the end of May.
Overall we had a great time escaping and connecting with nature. Spring Mill is only 15 min away and is a great day trip. We look forward to coming back to Guthrie Meadows!

The cabin was great. Trails are great. Sunset was beautiful. Annette and Doug are amazing hosts. Went above and beyond what we could have expected. The kids loved the place as well, the barn and games were a hit with them. Plenty to do within a 10 to 15 minute drive from the property but you could get lost in the woods there all weekend and have just as muxg fun! We will be returning for another visit in the future.

Beautiful sunsets!

It was nice to feel so secluded. My children enjoyed exploring the creek as well as Spring Mill. There was plenty of firewood and Annette even left us newspapers and some extra strong bug spray. My kids were thoroughly charmed by the dry sink, little Coleman lamps, and their very own outhouse.. We will definitely be coming back here next summer, if not sooner. I know this area is especially beautiful in the fall.

The cabin had everything we needed. It was built on a slope but they made the best out of their land.
