My son really enjoyed seeing all of the animals and helping feed them both evening and morning. There are a lot to see and all have unique individual stories. The peacock that sleeps in the tree with the chicken is a beautiful sight to whiteness, especially with a clear sky filled with stars and an almost full moon. A beautiful full fire was also warming just before our regular sunset bed time. If you enjoy being around animals, the three largest pigs I have ever seen! If you enjoy animals, and camping in backyards, you will enjoy this experience.
A backyard with animals!
My 51/2 year old son had a wonderful time assisting with night and morning feeds. It gave him a great opportunity to really see all of the animals and learn their unique indivual stories. I especially enjoyed observing the peacock. The peacock and the hen sleeping in the tree together are quite a beautiful sight. Three of the largest pigs I have ever seen too! A lovely nighttime fire just before my sons and I regular sunset bedtime. If you enjoy animals and sleeping in a tent than it is a nice experience.
Staying at Kelly's Animal Rescue Farm was a nice alternative to a hotel room. I enjoyed listening to all the farm animal sounds as the sun set over the barn. And only 30 minutes from the White River State Park in the center of Indianapolis!
